Living Earth Henna!

Peace!Salaam! Namaste!Shalom!,
Firstly, THANK YOU for taking time and energy to visit my website. It means a great deal to me. ..

Henna artistry also means a great deal to me...thats what this is all about! Passion!

I am passionate about drawing on people.

When I think back on my childhood and upbringing, I can talk about moments that were revelation for one of my purposes as a henna artist. Finding an intrigue and identifying with the curious cartoon village girl who enticed Mowgli at the end of The Jungle Book was one of those memories.

I have always used art as an outlet emotionally, physically, and self-expressively.

Drawing has always remained towards the top of my "what brings me joy" list in life.

I am certainly energized through positive contact with other people...can you see how much I love this now?! ...a lot.

An Artist's Life For Me:

I am a daughter to parents who generously allowed and encouraged me to express myself artistically. (Thank you!, Mama & Daddy! xoxo)

I am a sister to my siblings who ALL are artists (painting/furniture repurposing, theatre, and drawing/coloring).

I am the wife to my beloved painter/photographer husband who seasons my life and personality with authentic Bengali romance and culture.

I am a mother to three amazing little humans whom I consider growing artists...full of unique qualities and strengths.

Henna Baby...

I started and traveled on the henna business journey with one of my best friends, Stephanie, who still owns and operates the Mehndi Maidens henna business we parented together in Titusville, FL (please look her up on FaceBook if you're in the area..you won't be disappointed!!!)

Stephanie and I began drawing on each other with store-bought henna after she attended a friend's blessing way belly-henna party. It was love at first application (of henna) ! We just HAD to make our own paste... so we did...for many, many, many giggle-filled hours. We perfected our recipe over months and haven't stopped drawing since. xoxo

I moved to West North Carolina and continued this amazing passion as Living Earth Henna in Spring of 2018.
